HAND-FINISHED ITALIAN FRAMES

Design Framing now stocks the Bellini range of unique hand-finished picture frame mouldings.  The Bellini Collection encompasses’ both traditional styles and sophisticated contemporary designs.  Each Bellini moulding is individually sculpted and hand-finished by gifted craftsmen, mostly third and fourth generation artisans.

Other new mouldings include textured frames in soft timber finishers. Washed frames in soft blues, greens and whites look great around natural scenes and are ideal for thebeach house.

SPORTING MEMORABILIA

With the increasing popularity of sporting memorabilia, Design Framing  regularly frames football jumpers and other sports clothing.  These items are best placed in deep timber frames which allow room for the item without crushing.   Add some innovative matting displaying the club name and incorporate player photos and the end result is dazzling and will ensure the item is preserved into the future.  Other sporting memorabilia which can be framed includes footballs, crocket balls and bats, even shoes.  Over the years Design Framing has framed Olympic torches,  Cathy Freeman’s running shoes and many, many AFL jumpers.

3D OBJECT FRAMING

We are all used to seeing prints and artwork in frames on our walls, but give some thought to framing objects as well.  Whether it be a collection of badges, a favorite doll, an Italian mask or other  3-dimensional object, Design Framing has the techniques to create “ a home” for that special object.  Box frames can be combined with a wide range of frames and creative matting to show your object off to its best.  Framed 3D objects will often form a  focal point for any room.

 

Imaginative Mat Carving

Use our great design ideas and computerized mat cutting service to individualise the framing of your favorite photo or artwork.    Have your corporate logo or a child’s name cut into the mat surrounding a photo.
