Design Framing has been providing quality picture framing for over 15 years under the watchful eye of Dianne Fisher. In addition to offering a wide range of frames and styles, Dianne and her staff can provide you with technical advice on framing your treasured item as well as the latest in designer trends. Design Framing has a well equipped and modern workshop where all framing is done in house by experienced staff.
We frame:
Artwork including oils, works on paper, pastels and textiles and are able to frame large volumes of works for exhibitions.
Needlework including, cross-stitch, tapestries, stumpwork, and fabric collages.
Box frames for jumpers and other sports garments, 3D objects and masks
Medals and badges including a ribbon and medal replacement service
Staff
Dianne Fisher has been framing for other 20 years. “What started as a hobby quickly became my passion”. Dianne was a founding member of The Pictures Framers Guild and attends trades shows both here and in America to keep abreast of the latest techniques and trends. Dianne splits her time between the retail shop and the workshop and is available to meet customers afterhours by appointment.
Sue has a background in fine arts and has been applying this to her design work over the last 15 years. Whether an old family photo or a modern print, Sue will offer you design alternatives to give your framing a special flair.
Anita has been framing for over 5 years and loves to solve that difficult technical problem some objects present. Anita has also become a wiz at the computerized mat cutting. While not in the workshop , Anita loves to help customers with colouful solutions to their framing designs.
Rosetta started at Design Framing doing work experience and is still here 6 years later while she completes a bachelor in photography.
